We all know about the quote, spoken by Swamiji. Education is actually a process of learning and teaching a systematic way through which an individual acquires knowledge, experience and skills. The quality of education depends on the hand of teachers. The American commission on Teacher Education rightly observes that quality of a nation depends upon the quality of its citizens, quality of citizens depends not exclusively, but in critical measure upon the quality of their education, the quality of their education depends more than any single factor, upon the quality of their teacher. So, Teacher education is very much important. A Child is the future of a society. So, a teacher shapes and nurtures a child. D.EL. Ed course is about the making of teachers of elementary level I extend a warm welcome in our institution, Siksha Sangha Govt. Spons. P.T.T.T., Bishnupur, South 24 Parganas. Our aim is to nurture young boys or men to become a competent, skilled and profound, intellectually sound teachers for schools. Our college is one of the renowned teachers’ training institute in the state of West Bengal. The institution was established in the year of 1950, and now fully funded by the Government of West Bengal under the affiliation of W.B.B.P.E and recognized by N.C.T.E. It is situated in the heart of South 24 Parganas district. Our focus is to make the young minds creative, technically skilled. We deliver knowledge about joyful learning, try to enhance the problem-solving skills and cultivate value-based education in our students so that they can achieve overall education. It also inculcates social responsibility and citizenship skills.

I admire my teaching staffs for their efforts and constructive ideas, I also admire my non-reaching Staffs for their tireless effort to run the institution and our admission process smoothly.
