The institution embarked it’s journey probably 1937-1938. A Few students took admission, and the name of our institution was Guru Training. It was under taken by West Bengal Government in the year of 1949. The name is changed and became Bishnupur Siksha Sangha P.T.T. I. This year our institute will celebrate the 75 years celebration, the diamond jubilee. In the year of 2010 a new building was constructed, funded by West Bengal Government. The newly builded building is “Gitanjali” in name. It is situated just beside the national high way on the heart of city of South 24 Parganas, our campus is very beautiful and reputed. Our aim is to nurture young minds and strain
students and give teacher education.
